Site surveys carried out across Norfolk

The minefield of legislation covering fire detection and intruder alarm systems is ever evolving. You need new fire alarm systems to conform to BS 5839, Fire Safety Order 2005 and Fire Scotland 2005, and new monitored intruder alarm systems to comply with PD6662:2004. Alarming UK will ensure that you are fully protected by a system tailored to your exact needs. Contact us now.

Site surveys and risk assessments

Alarming UK offers free site surveys and risk assessments to clients across Norfolk. We do not pressure any of our prospective clients to “sign on the dotted line” at any time during the survey or by telephone afterwards. All our quotations, following the risk assessment are forwarded to the client by post or e mail.

We provide site surveys for intruder alarm installations, access control system installations, CCTV installations, fire alarm installations, oil tank alarm installations, emergency lighting installations and much more.

We are your one-stop shop for all of your fire detection and electronic security needs; we can tailor our services to suit your requirements. We are a registered member of the NSI (National Security Inspectorate) and we are accredited with NACOSS Gold approval. We can offer a full design and installation service for intruder alarms, access control systems and CCTV systems.

Installations

All our installations are carried out by fully trained and qualified engineers who are directly employed by us. We hire sub-contractors for construction work associated with the installation of CCTV columns, ducting, etc. These sub-contractors are vetted in accordance with the guidelines laid by ISO9001.

All our engineers are DBS checked and fully screened in accordance with BS7858. Upon completion of the installation, our engineers will return all the required paperwork to the office where the invoice for the agreed work has to be forwarded to you by post. We do not expect our engineers to collect payment nor do we normally request a deposit. We expect you to be fully satisfied with our work and the condition of your premises left prior to payment.

Maintenance

Your system is fully warrantied for a year from the date of its installation. We offer 24-hour engineering assistance and call-out facilities within the installation cost for the first year. At the end of the warranty period, we will offer a maintenance contract that will include the continuance of the 24-hour call-out facility and engineering support. You can renew this contract annually if required.

Taking over the maintenance of your existing system

Alarming UK is experienced in taking over existing domestic and commercial security and fire systems. Most clients come to us when:
  • They are not happy with the quality of service from their existing system provider
  • They have a faulty alarm where the problem seems unresolvable
  • Their existing maintenance or monitoring contract comes to an end and they are seeking a more competitive quotation
  • Their existing alarm company goes out of business
  • They have recently moved into a property and have no details about the alarm system fitted
  • They want a local firm whom they can contact at all times
  • They want to amalgamate all their intruder, fire, emergency lighting, door access control and CCTV system maintenance contracts into one cost effective package
What’s the takeover process?

When you contact us to inquire about Alarming UK taking over the maintenance of your intruder or fire system, we will provide a free, no obligation review of your system and a quotation to fix any existing issues. We would also provide a quotation to take over the maintenance and monitoring of the system. You are not obliged to accept our quotation at the time of the visit by the engineer nor do we pressure sell on the telephone.

Will it be expensive changing to a new security alarm systems company?

Not necessarily. By changing to a new service provider you may be able to save on your annual charges as well as your insurance premiums. Our contract is a 1 year agreement – our belief is that if you are happy with the service we provide you will stay with us.
