A major factor in the security of any building, from commercial premises to county courts, is the restriction of access to anyone except authorised personnel.
With the latest sophisticated equipment from manufacturers such as Bell Systems, Videx and Fermax, we can design systems which will not only deny access to anyone not entitled to it, but will also tell you exactly who is on the premises, and even when they came and went.
At the simplest level, an audio or video system, linked to a call controller, can be used at gates or main doors. Beyond that, various door control systems are available, with varying degrees of sophistication. Keypad and swipe-card entry systems, for example, require a user code or a magnetic-strip card to gain entry - but these are being superseded by the keyfob system, in which each user's fob contains a programmable transponder. The fob operates the door control simply by proximity, and can be tailored to each individual user's needs, opening as few or as many different doors as necessary. |
