At the next level, your system can be configured to automatically alert you via your mobile phone, while a police-linked system will raise the alarm at the local police station. And at the top of the range, a GSM-linked system can do all that without relying on a telephone line - so even if the line is cut, the alarm is raised.

An approved alarm system, incidentally, is not only an effective deterrent against crime, but can also substantially reduce your exposure to insurance excess costs. After a recent installation, for instance, our client's insurance excess was reduced from £50k to £5k.
